GlaxoSmithKline commissioned XVIVO to create a mechanism of action animation for Theravance’s new class of antibiotic, Vibativ developed to stop serious MRSA infections in hospital settings. Vibativ works by preventing bacterial ribosomes from making proteins, which replicating bacteria require to effectively build new cell walls. Bacteria will run out of cell wall material in the replication process effectively killing them.
“XVIVO has done an outstanding job for us. They engaged in our graphical design project with enthusiasm and took it to a level well beyond our imagination!”
