Dengue was created for Irene Bosch, Ph.D. at University of Massachusetts and Yorgo Modis, Ph.D. from Yale University. This animation was an educational project for PBS TV which detailed the mechanism the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Virus uses to escape the capture vesicle that carries it into a human host cell, allowing it to infect that cell.
“I came to XVIVO with only a few basic thoughts, and from these ideas, they worked out an excellent and striking image that perfectly conveyed the scientific point. I was very pleased with the experience, and I would recommend XVIVO to anyone that wants to explain complicated scientific ideas with clear and professional images.”
